A recent development of the ARC is our Clinic program.
ARC Clinics are set times where the arc is set aside to provide assistance in certain areas, usually from 7pm until 9pm on weekdays. Clinics operate with an open-door policy. No advanced notice is required. Students can come in at any time during Clinic hours and stay as long as they wish. Come with questions, or just come to study! The arc Clinic program provides hassle free tutoring!
Math Clinic is held on Tuesday and Wednesday from 7pm until 9pm in the ARC. Staffed by math and math education majors, the Math Clinic offers one-on-one support for any courses related to math and statistics.
Accounting Clinic is held on Monday and Thursday from 7pm until 9pm in the ARC. Staffed by an Accounting major, the Accounting Clinic offers one-on-one support for any accounting related courses.
The term clinic is very appropriate for what we offer. Health clinics do not take the place of a primary health care professional, and neither do our academic clinics. The "primary health care professional" is always the course professor, but the academic clinic provides immediate support.
