Joaquim Cotano Lezcano is taking his education to the next level. The former Biology and Chemistry major will be pursuing Master's Degrees in Spanish Education (as a foreign language) and Secondary Education simultaneously and will be qualified to teach Spanish at the high school and college level at the conclusion of his studies.
The director of the ARC, Dr. Regina Stone-Hernandez, has the utmost confidence in Joaquim, "His determination and desire to assist others has made him a valuable resource for the ARC and the University of Mount Olive. I can't wait to see where this new path takes him!"
Joaquim Cotano Lezcano graduated in May 2016 and has served UMO students in many different areas. He worked as an SI leader for Mathematics and Science and was instrumental in establishing the ARC Science Clinic.
